  1. Add CLAUDE.md files to at least two repositories you work in
  2. Use Claude Code (Desktop or CLI) for at least three tasks this week
  3. Try plan mode on at least one non-trivial task — review and iterate on the plan
  4. Experiment with different permission levels — start strict, then selectively relax
  5. Identify one task you could turn into a repeatable skill or workflow

Read the Model Context Protocol (MCP) overview on docs.claude.com. Identify three repetitive workflows in your day-to-day that involve external systems (Jira, GitHub, Confluence, monitoring dashboards, etc.) — those are MCP candidates.
